The Los Angeles Clippers’ visit to Toronto on Wednesday was the event to provide Kawhi Leonard his 2019 championship ring, and it’s protected to say that there are not any arduous emotions from Raptor followers.
Leonard was greeted with a standing ovation and “MVP” chants after a tribute video was shown. He greeted all the remaining coaches and teammates he performed with final season before being handed his ring by Kyle Lowry.
What a moment as Kawhi Leonard receives his ring in Toronto.

These ring ceremonies could be unusual affairs when the receiving player is not on the workforce. Depending on the way of departure, the fan reception could be awkward. That was not the case here. Toronto followers maintain no ailing will towards Leonard for leaving, and keep in mind him as the man who helped ship the Raptors’ first NBA title. The feeling appears to be mutual, and this was a very good event for all.
