The Knicks had simply made a basket to turn it right into a Three-point recreation at 80-77 with about 9 minutes left within the fourth quarter. The Knicks referred to as a timeout, and Napier determined to shoot a Three-pointer. Portis blocked the ball after which tossed it at Napier after Napier gave a sarcastic thumbs up.

How dare Portis do such a horrible thing! He might have taken Napier’s head off or broken some bones with a heave of such velocity! I’m not even positive an ejection is enough. The NBA may need to contemplate a multi-game suspension to rid the sport of such horrible nonsense.
And yes, should you couldn’t tell by the computer font, that was all sarcasm.
Portis had seven factors and seven rebounds in 15 minutes previous to being tossed.
