The Washington State Cougars wasted no time replacing Mike Leach after he departed for Mississippi State.
In line with Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports, the Cougars will hire Nick Rolovich away from Hawaii to turn into their new head coach.

Rolovich just completed his fourth season with Hawaii. He went 28-27, but steadily improved over his tenure there. He’s a Hawaii alum with deep ties to the university, so departing for Washington State in all probability wasn’t a simple call.
Washington State might be hoping that Rolovich can maintain building on what Leach was capable of in Pullman. Maybe he’ll convey alongside some of his unique disciplinary tactics as properly, not to mention his even stranger media day shenanigans.
