Devonta Freeman is a two-time Professional Bowl operating again in his prime, however it feels like there's a real probability he might not play at all in 2020.

Freeman will go unsigned by the Seattle Seahawks after they agreed to terms with operating again Carlos Hyde on Friday. Hyde signed a one-year deal that would see him earn up to $4 million. In response to Michael Silver of NFL.com, that is very similar to a deal that Freeman finally declined.

Silver added that Freeman doesn't feel he has to play from a monetary standpoint, and will not sign for less than he believes he’s value.

Freeman ran for 1,000 yards in both 2015 and 2016, but his manufacturing has tailed off since and injuries value him nearly all of 2018. The Falcons released him in March, and it appears that he won't be enjoying in 2020 in any respect.
